A bespoke Pagani Zonda just sold at RM Sotheby’s Abu Dhabi Auction for $6.05 million. Ahead of time, the auction had given an estimate range of $4.5 million – $5.5 million which seemed fair considering a Pagani Zonda Riveria was sold last weekend at $5.5 million. Both of these supercar sales are making headlines around the automotive community.
The Pagani Zonda Aether is fitted with the full ‘760’-specification 7.3-litre V-12 engine which delivers a oiwerful 749 bhp. The Aether’s most exciting feature is the fact it is one of few Zonda Roadster’s equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Other special features include the Zonda HP Barchetta/Huayra BC–style seats, deletion of interior door handles, replaced by leather pull straps, a large starter button in the centre console, LED rev counter, extra oil gauges, and a gear selection read-out.
Whether you are a spectator or investor in used supercars, its great to see these high sale prices to confirm the market is staying strong and these rare automobiles are continuing to increase in value.
