Bugatti just revealed a new Sport version of the powerful Chiron at this years Geneva Auto Show. The engine details and horsepower are not unchanged in the Sport variant, the quad turbocharged, 8.0 liter W16 engine still produces 1500 horsepower. The Chiron can go from 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and reach a governed top speed of 420 km/h.
The main upgrade to the Bugatti Chiron Sport in the enhanced handling and driving features. The options include stiffer suspension, adjusted steering, an optimized rear diff, and dynamic torque vectoring also make the Chiron a more sporting drive. The Chiron Sport is also 40 pounds lighter than the original Chiron.
Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., said in a press release:
“We have developed the Chiron Sport for customers wanting an even sportier driving experience with their Chiron, with improved lateral dynamics on winding roads”.
There are a few exterior changes to the Chiron Sport, including a new wheel design and a four-pipe exhaust deflector, not to mention it holds the title for first production car in the world equipped with carbon fibre windshield wipers. The Bugatti Chiron Sport is priced at €2.65 million, or $3.26 million, and deliveries are expected before the end of the year. It may be a while before you find this particular Bugatti for sale on the second hand market.
