The Aria FXE was just released at the 2017 Los Angeles Motor Show. This new hybrid hypercar is the second model to be showcased from the California based company Aria.
Aria is no stranger in the automotive world, they currently produce the bodywork for the Singer 911 which has received a lot of praise. The company has spent over 20 years developing projects for the auto, aerospace and movie industries.
The Aria FXE is powered by an all-American 6.2-liter V8 combined with a 10-kWh lithium ion battery. The 1,150 horsepower and 1,316 pound-feet of torque drive power to all four wheels through a 7 Speed Dual-Clutch automatic transmission. The car does 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph.
Aria will aim to build around 400 of these hybrid supercars.
