Lotus recently announced additional details on its latest version of the 3-Eleven sports car. The 3-Eleven 430 will be the most exclusive variant with a limited production of just 20 units worldwide. The new model is the quickest street-legal sports car ever produced by the Lotus brand.
The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 will be powered by a supercharged 3.5 liter V6 power unit that can produce up to 430 hp in a sports car that weighs an impressive 920 kg, 5 kg less than the standard 3-Eleven. This light and powerful sports car can go from 0-60 mph in a quick 3.1 seconds 60 mph with a top speed of 180 mph.
The exterior for the 3-Eleven 430 is made from carbon fibre which goes well with the carbon interior parts allowing Lotus to create such a lightweight vehicle. The car also gets a straight-cut rear wing mounted 50 mm higher than previous model with re-profiled end plates, a longer front splitter and lip spoiler and a flat floor with rear diffuser.
The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 is currently available for order and is priced in the UK at £102,000 including VAT, German customers should expect to pay €129,000 including VAT at 19%. As of now there are no expected deliveries to North America, however that can changes as the remaining available units are ordered.
