Aston Martin just recently announced the new DBS Superleggera, a replacement for the Aston Martin Vanquish S which served as the brands top supercar in recent years. The new supercars name is already stirring controversy as the company is combining two well known historical names into one.
The DBS Superleggera is built using a combination of aluminum and carbon fibre body panels. A deep a dramatic front grille create a stunning look from the front. The new supercar also gets a double diffuser which represents 180 kg of downforce. In additional to carbon fibre parts available to order, Aston Martin will also offer a full titanium exhaust system for those looking to step it up a notch on the specs and performance.
The car will be powered by a 5.2 liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 725HP and 900 Nm torque which allows the DBS Superleggera to reach a top speed of 211 mph and a 0-100 km time of 3.4 seconds. For those wondering about fuel consumption, the car gets about 23 mpg which is pretty impressive for a V12 with over 700HP.
Prices will start at: $304,995 USA, £225,000 UK and 274,995 euros in Germany. The new DBS Superleggera is certainly not your typical Aston Martin for sale.
