This extremely rare 2004 Ford GT CP-1 prototype is currently listed for sale with Autosport Designs, a Long Island based dealer that has been serving the automotive enthusiast community for over 28 years providing a full suite of sales, service, and restoration services. Featured in a Black exterior with Ebony leather interior, this prototype is powered by a 5.4 Liter Supercharged V8 engine and comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The CP-1 (Confirmation Prototype) was the first fully functional prototype for the development phase of the new Ford GT. The car has a documented build history and is signed by the entirety of the Ford GT project team including Carroll Shelby. It was purchased directly from Ford by Ford GT specialist and personality Joseph “GT Joey” Limongelli. It is not often that such a historic prototype supercar becomes available to the public.
