When Bugatti went bankrupt in 1995, Dauer Racing GmbH, Nuremberg, founded in 1987 by racing driver Jochen Dauer, purchased the complete EB110 production line and spare parts catalogue in 1997. He then went on to create a lighter/faster Bugatti EB110 SS.
The dealer is currently asking 860,000 EUR for this iconic supercar.
