Lotus just created the most powerful Evora variant so far, the Evora GT410 Sport. The GT410 Sport has similarities to the Evora Sport 410 and Evora GT430. The GT Series focuses mainly on aerodynamics and lightness, so the Evora GT410 Sport adds more carbon fiber to the hood, roof, integrated spoiler, and tailgate to give it a weight of just 2,769 pounds. Some bodywork was taken from the GT430 to help generate 211 lbs of downforce at 190 mph, making it the most aerodynamic Lotus available.
The GT410 also gets a more powerful version of the Evora’s supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, allowing the GT410 Sport to produce 410 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. It can be had with either a six-speed manual with a Torsen limited-slip differential or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The Evora GT410 goes from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
At the launch of the new Evora GT410 Sport, Jean-Marc Gales, CEO, Group Lotus plc said, “We are continually exploring new ideas, innovating and evolving our cars in pursuit of perfection. The new Evora GT410 Sport takes the lessons learnt from the development of the GT430 to deliver something outstanding and highly capable.”
